When you provide your mobile phone number and agree to receive SMS/text messages from Windstone Properties LLC, your consent may be recorded in our tenant records.
Example Lease Consent Language
The following is an example of SMS consent language that may be included in a tenant lease, lease addendum, rental application, or other tenant document:
“By providing your mobile phone number, you agree to receive SMS/text messages from Windstone Properties LLC related to your tenant account, rental application, rent reminders, payment confirmations, maintenance updates, appointment reminders, lease/account notices, and property-related alerts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not required as a condition of renting property, applying for housing, or purchasing goods or services.”
Verbal Consent Script
If consent is collected verbally, Windstone Properties LLC staff may use language similar to the following:
“Windstone Properties LLC can send you text messages related to your tenant account, rent reminders, payment confirmations, maintenance notices, appointment reminders, lease/account notices, and property-related alerts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for help. Do you agree to receive text messages from Windstone Properties LLC?”
If the individual agrees, Windstone Properties LLC may record that consent was provided.
Opt-In Confirmation Message
After opting in, you may receive a confirmation message similar to:
“Windstone Properties: You are opted in to receive tenant account and property-related SMS notifications. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.”

Windstone Properties LLC is not responsible for any charges imposed by your mobile carrier.
Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying:
STOP
After replying STOP, you may receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive SMS messages from Windstone Properties LLC unless you opt in again.
